The Gospel

SCROLL DOWN

The Gospel

Creation

Creation

The Gospel begins with creation. God is perfect and holy and He created all things out of nothing. He acted alone for His own pleasure and glory when He created the universe. God created men and women in His image and for the purpose of knowing Him, glorifying Him, and enjoying His presence forever. God's special task for mankind was to govern the earth for His glory.

Fall

Fall

God knew and fellowshipped face-to-face with man. However, in that perfect environment, which included everything anyone could ever need, our first parents fell into sin and rebelled against God. In Adam, sin entered the world and every person that has ever lived is guilty before God. The beautiful creation became marred by sin. We all, as soon as we are able, rebel against God as well. Wanting moral autonomy and the ability to run the affairs of our life as we see fit, we turn our backs on God. On our own we are guilty before God and cannot truly know Him.

Reconciliation

Reconciliation

Rather than destroy His fallen creation, God in His love and mercy, pursues us in His plan of redemption. The eternal Son of God comes as a human as God's focal point of redemption. Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection are God's provision for mankind which accomplishes His plan of redeeming back mankind from the power and effect of sin. Redemption brings forgiveness of sin, renewed relationship with God, and a new life. Jesus expects and empowers all whom He redeems to follow Him with their entire life.

New Creation

New Creation

The resurrection of Jesus is the beginning of new creation. At the return of Jesus, God will re-create what was lost at the fall. The dwelling of God will again be with man for all eternity in a perfect new heaven and new earth. This "New Creation" will be accomplished because of Jesus Christ. All will be done to the Glory of God. Having experience salvation in Jesus Christ, the Church testifies to the coming new creation now.

Respond Now

Respond Now

The Gospel is a message of hope to all people and an invitation from God to a new life in Christ. This message demands a response.

The Bible tells us how to respond to God. Repent and believe the Gospel.

Repent: This means to turn from ones sin or way of life.

Believe: To believe the Gospel is to believe that Jesus death is your only hope of salvation. It is an acknowledgment that your good works are never good enough and never will be good enough to satisfy God. It is believing that Jesus life counts for your life and His death is the death you deserve.

Please Repent and Believe the Gospel Now.

Commit: To truly believe and place one's faith in Jesus is to surrender one's whole life to Jesus as Lord. As Jesus said: If anyone wants to come with me, he must deny himself,  take up his cross and follow me".    (Mat 16:24)

Jesus also tells us that salvation is a free gift to all who desire it.

And let the one who is thirsty come, let the one who who desires take the water of life without price.
— Revelation 22:17
